The ITRC
was established with an agreement between University of Cincinnati and
theTurkish National Police Organization in 2006. The ITRC is an
independent, non-profit organization which is not only devoted to
scholarly research and public education on terrorism affairs but also
dedicated to prevent, or at least minimize, the future terrorist
attacks via thirty-year long counter-terrorism experience of Turkish
National Police.
